"A NO-TELL-TALE OF THE LEATHER FACE OF GOD"

C/M Edenborgs konstnärsbok "A No-Tell-Tale of the Leather Face of God" är 16 sidor lång och består av sju dikter och tuschmålningar. Via blodgranna fantasmer berättar den en uråldrig saga om födelse/död/återuppståndelse. I centrum finns "Leatherface", monstret i filmen The Texas Chain Saw Massacre från 1974. I texterna och bilderna förekommer även många allusioner på, referenser till och citat från Bibeln, Apocalypse Now, samt texter av Thomas de Quincey, A. C. Swinburne, James Joyce, Vladimir Nabokov och Sylvia Plath.

"A No-Tell-Tale of the Leather Face of God" är tryckt på Scandia 2000 "natural" 300 gramspapper med plåtar som sätter avtryck i papperet: du kan känna bokstäverna med fingertoppen. Bilderna är professionellt reproducerade på Hahnemüler Fine Art paper. Det finns endast 48 exemplar av boken och den kommer inte att tryckas om. Dessa är fördelade på två upplagor:

1. En som är begränsad till 41 exemplar, numrerade och signerade med tjurblod. Ett exemplar kostar 1.100 kronor inkl frakt. (Tillverkningskostnaden per exemplar är mycket hög.)

2. En bibliomanupplaga begränsad till 7 exemplar, som även de är numrerade och signerade med tjurblod. Dessutom innehåller vart och ett av en originalmålning. Ett bibliomanexemplar kostar 19.000 kronor inkl frakt.

C/M Edenborg Artist's Book "A No-Tell-Tale of the Leather Face of God" contains seven poems and ink paintings. In blood-bright colours, it tells a story of birth / death / resurrection. In the center stands "Leatherface", the monster in the movie The Texas Chain Saw Massacre from 1974. The texts and images feature many allusions on, references to, and quotes from the Bible, Apocalypse Now, and texts by Thomas de Quincey, AC Swinburne, James Joyce, Vladimir Nabokov and Sylvia Plath.

"A No-Tell-Tale of the Leather Face of God" is printed on Scandia 2000 "natural" 300 grams paper with letterpress that puts its mark on the paper: you can touch the letters with the tip of your finger. The pictures are professionally reproduced on Hahnemüler Fine Art paper. There are only 48 copies of the book and it will not be reprinted. These are divided into two editions:

1. One which is limited to 41 copies, numbered and signed with bull's blood. One copy costs 1,100 SEK + shipping (outside Sweden). 

2. A bibliomanic edition limited to 7 copies, numbered and signed with bull's blood. Each contains an original painting. A bibliomanic copy costs 19,000 SEK + shipping (outside Sweden).
